Easy Pumpkin Fudge

Pumpkin Fudge

Mix 2/3 cup evaporated milk with 2 1/2 cups sugar.
bring to a boil, stir occasionally.

 Add 2/3 cup pumpkin, 1 tsp cinnamon.
bring to a boil again, stir occasionally.

Add 7oz marshmallow creme, 2 tbsp butter. Bring to a rolling boil.

 Boil for 18 minutes stir occasionally. Remove from heat.

Add 1 cup white chocolate chips and 1 tsp. vanilla.

Pour into a foil lined 9x9 pan. cool, cut and eat.
PS. no candy thermometer needed, this comes out amazing!

Circle Time!

I absolutely LOVE <3 this picture of Maria Montessori in circle time. Notice how the children are sitting close? Nobody is sitting in the dreaded 'criss-cross applesauce' position! The children are engaged, comfortable and so is Maria...

The "World's" Best Playdough

2 cups  flour
2 cups water
1 cup salt
4 tbsp cream of tarter
2 tbsp baby oil
15 drops blue food coloring

Whisk flour, water, salt, cream of tarter in a pot. Add baby oil and food coloring. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. As the mixture cooks, lumps of dough wil form. Continue stirring. When there is one large unstirrable lump of dough, remove from heat and dump the dough onto a heat safe surface. ***BE CAREFUL IT WILL BE VERY HOT. Knead until smooth. Store in ziplock bags. Use for the Globe to Map lesson.
